You don't need "--without-openssl", it does nothing.

This isn't something Claws Mail should or can do. It is a bug in libetpan.
Although libetpan can be built with either openssl or gnutls, if it is built
with the former and is utilised by a program built with gnutls (which, of
course, is Claws Mail (which can only be built with gnutls)), then libetpan
has problems.
