            Bug ID: 4681
Summary: Feature request: optionally lock folder location
           Product: Claws Mail
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P3
         Component: Folders
          Assignee: users at lists.claws-mail.org
          Reporter: lane at dchooz.org

Being prone to "fumble fingers", I will occasionally accidentally click on a
folder in the folder-list, and wind up moving it to a different place in the
folder hierarchy. And, of course, filtering rules no longer work properly, so
even when the new location is near the old location so that it's not obviously
wrong, it only gets noticed as a result of "why is the filter not putting the
emails in the correct folder?".

So it would be very useful to have an folder option of "do not move this
folder" to prevent this; whether an explicit "lock" checkbox has to be
unchecked to move a folder, or a "do you REALLY want to do this?" user prompt.

This may be possible using filesystem protection changes, but since it's
claws-mail doing the moving, it seems having claws-mail decline to move a
folder is the more obvious way to handle this.
