Brad,

this already was seen for CM 4.0.0 in Debian 12/bookworm (testing),
ahead of 4.1.0 currently provided.  This change (compared to version
3.17 or 3.18) didn't nag me too much because moving the vertical
separator between the sub folders on the left, and message list and
individual message on the right lets the labels (subject, from, date,
etc in the list view) surface again.
