You are not comparing like for like. A distro with thousands of
packages, and no users will be interested in them all, with an
email list for one programme which you only subscribe to if you are
interested in it specifically.

That's what is happening here. You subscribed to this list and this
list, besides user queries and release announcements, also gets mail
from the claws-mail bugzilla. If you don't want to see the bug items
then filter them.
