missing attachment icons

I am experiencing this with version 3.16.0git241 when testing with locally
downloaded messages. Clicking on the message does not make the attachment icon
appear.

Testing with messages sent to myself, here is a screenshot which shows what I
see:

In black are the messages sent by CM.
In red are the messages received by CM.

(obviously there is a sorting issue too but I will file this in a separate bug)

For both the attachment is:

Content-Type: text/plain
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

The only difference between the 2 tests is the attachment size:

test 1: 7 bytes
test 2: 3100 bytes

Clicking on any of these 4 messages changes nothing in regards to the
attachment icon.
