Damn, I missed that discussing and it is already purged from my inbox.
However, citing the RFC:
> A keyword is defined by the server implementation. Keywords do not

So this is optional and should not result in an error.
The server gives PERMANENTFLAGS indeed:
[07:56:58] IMAP< * OK [PERMANENTFLAGS (\Seen \Answered \Flagged \Deleted
\Draft $MDNSent)] Permanent flags
So this is something to take into consideration...
