You seem to have misunderstood what was said here:

"This works for text attachments which have 'Content-Disposition:
attachment' (this is what is fixed). Text attachments which have
'Content-Disposition: inline' are treated like inline text."
So there was a bug, and that was fixed. No-one suggested that you
'forward as attachment' afaik.

Yes. It is turned off by default. See /View/Quotes, make sure nothing
is checked there.
