            Bug ID: 3832
Summary: When trying to set up a new account, Claws Mail by
default proposes mixing the "received" folder with an
                    existing account
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: Claws Mail
           Version: 3.13.0
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: UI
          Assignee: users at lists.claws-mail.org
          Reporter: clawsmail at mailinator.com

Hi there,

first of all I have to say "thank you" a lot of times. I am incredibly grateful
about the fact that the Claws Mail developers' team maintains a solid
alternative to market-leading e-mail clients, especially Thunderbird.

I relied on Thunderbird for many years, but when policy in the company changed,
it wrecked several of my accounts (and a lot of offline data difficult to
recover).

Currently, I am testing the 3.13.0 version of Claws Mail (for the sole reason
that 3.15.0 isn't in Debian's "stable" repos yet).

As for now, I already got three IMAP accounts to run, and I encountered only
few issues during that.

However, I now tried to add a fourth account, which is a POP3 account.

Then, strangely enough, Claws Mail didn't offer me to generate a completely new
folder for that, but instead, in "Receive" -> "Default Inbox" it only offered
the Inbox of the first IMAP account I had configured in Claws.

1) This looks like a bug to me.

2) Would it be a good idea to work around this bug by doing what I proposed
here: https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=42140?

Greetings, and thanks in advance for your answer, Joe
