Yes, my locales are created that way in the first place with every update - but this debian hook does not do much more than to offer a list for selection, save that into /etc/locale.gen, and then invoke locale-gen.

Maybe there's a bug in localpurge. But anyway, it gots nothing to do with claws, so let's close this discussion here.
