If they have regular folder icon next to them, they're not special. The
folders you describe indeed probably aren't the special folders (inbox,
outbox/queue, sent, trash, drafts).

Have a look at Q's suggestion elsewhere in this thread. What's value of
your LC_COLLATE env. variable? Mine is "en_US.UTF-8".
