Thanks for your detailed reply, N.W.
One thing is for sure, though: before going through all those links and
trying to tinker with the system myself, I will wait for the outcome of
this thread. In fact, most probably I will not even try at all to solve
the problem, if I have to do it on my own. This issue is really for the
developers to tackle. As for me, I really don't have the technical
skills or the patience to attempt daredevil solutions, especially
considering that the email client is something too important to risk
compromising its functionality for the sake of changing color themes.
Any tinkering may lead to serious problems.
Could some of the developers please look into this matter and find a
safe solution for changing the GTK color theme on Win32?
I am surprised that this issue, which was reported long ago, has not
been solved yet.
