Makes sense.

It was set to the FQDN in /etc/hostname. I now set it to the host part
(ryz) there. /etc/hosts now includes 

::1     ryz.dorfdsl.de localhost ip6-localhost ip6-loopback ryz

This now works as intended, thanks for the suggestion.
