[Users] question concerning migrating to new server

Greetings,
First post.
Situation:
I needed to get out from under the cost of a hosted server where I was
running my own email server, so I created a new hosted email account on
Rackspace, and setup my dns to point to it. I ran IMAP on clients that
pointed to my own server. With all of my claws-mail clients shutdown, I
verified I could send/receive from the webmail interface at Rackspace.
All seemed good. I made full backups of my claws-mail folders at
~/.claws-mail and ~/.local/share/claws-mail
before firing up the client, as I was pretty sure everything would be
wiped that existed from the old server when IMAP synchronized, and it
was.
Question:
How best can I now re-attach or re-import all of my old mail I saved in
the backed up copy to the new email setup? Ideally it will be available
in all clients, but if not easily doable, just from my main box
where the backup is would be acceptable.
Thanks for your advice and direction.
Regards,
Christopher
