[Users] Bug: CM gets stuck when reading older mail

Hello,
I'm running CM version 4.3.0git38 . I have an inbox with 326 messages in
it. When trying to read mail that's about 1 year old, CM gets stuck for
several seconds.
I tried investigating this by running htop and triggering CM. CM is stuck
in the S state (Stopped), not the D state (waiting for Disk access).

I'm running Devuan (Debian) Linux chimaera with kernel version 6.10.X.
