[Users] Where do duplicate messages originate?

I occasionally see isolated duplicate messages. I always assume these
are due to some problem with the senders' mail systems rather then with
me or with claws mail.

How often is 'often'? And is there any pattern or commonality in the
people/organisations or mail-agents used by these people?
