Agreed.  Mind you, even though I set a Reply-To <list at address> (1), I
still sometimes get a duplicate private email.

Maybe;  But who reads those pages?

I mean, how often does one see a message akin to "please unsubscribe
from from this list".  It's not as if they're all that different.
Methods are broadly similar on all lists.

As this is now waaay off-topic, I propose that we leave it there.

(1)  Depending on list settings over which I have no control, that
sometimes gets stripped.
