Yeah, there's no problem with doing that, but also:

On Receive page, don't check 'Authenticate before POP connection'

On Send page, check the box 'SMTP Authentication (SMTP AUTH)', leave the
choice as 'Automatic'

On the TLS page, turn on TLS for IMAP and SMTP

On the Advanced page, set the ports as detailed
here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN28681.html

That should be it, right yahoo users?!?
