[Users] Microsoft Live (hotmail) oauth2 authentication always fails

Hi all,
I've tried for days to make oauth2 authentication work with my live.com
account but no way.
I carefully followed these instructions:

obtained the authorization code, correctly pasted but clicking "authorize"
button I always get:
"OAuth2 missing authentication code"
but code is there, tried to get a new one many times, tried with Claws 4.0
and 4.3 compiled from source but the result is the same.
Read that someone else has got my problem but no solution so far.
Anybody could please help me?
