Yeah, that's a point worthy of consideration but it's oauth2 we're talking
about, (and although morals can be very subjective), the blanket claim that
it is more secure than username+password while omitting the argument, and the
fact it centralises what was under no-one's particular control and instead
allows the corporates to take back control of something which they lost, and
additionally ignoring the open source model used by projects such as Claws
Mail and treating every software as if it is a property of a commercial
company, (and so on and so forth) is morally questionable anyway - at least
in my opinion. So to start talking of morals is opening a can of worms.
