Hi,

I'm testing IMAP at present. Still using the POP3 mailbox and have
added an IMAP test account which includes the mail account on the
server.

Some imap questions please.

1.if an email is in the (queue) IMAP mailbox it cannot be sent when I
click on 'send Queue'. The msg is "Some errors occurred while sending
queued messages: Couldn't determine sending information. Maybe the
email hasn't been generated by Claws Mail." The network log is

2.  The IMAP sync is working apart from the 'Queue' issue, which may be
something I'm doing. The sync appears to work okay both ways. If I copy
an email from a Claws folder to the 'Sent' within the IMAP folder, it
will appear on the email server. The same is true for the INBOX within
the IMAP folder on Claws, or if I send an email to the 'IMAP' account
on the server. So, for the testing I have been either sending email to
the IMAP server address or doing local copies. But how would an email
end up in the 'Sent' IMAP folder locally in normal circumstances ?
Possibly if I send from Claws and the 'From' is the email address for
the IMAP side of things.

So, the synch appears to be working fine, even if I copy an email to
'Trash' within the IMAP mailbox locally it appears on the IMAP server.
But I had one there yesterday and it is gone. No doubt the 'empty on
exit' rule in the preferences are in place for the IMAP folder locally
also. ?

3.  What does "download messages" do ?

4.  What impact do forwarders have on the IMAP processing rules for
sync ?
