[Users] Auto read mail

Hi,

I have read the last mail of an IMAP folder and cleaned it up (no
messages remeain in the folder).

Some time later a message arrives. It gets automatically selected, is
shown, and flagged as read. 

However, assume that I went somewhere else and somewhat later read mail in
another client via IMAP. I won't notice the new message since it has
already been flagged as read.

Is this intended behaviour?
