Right from the start, he mentioned that "I just installed claws-mail [...] on a FreeBSD 13.2 machine.". Where is that Windows ?

Apart from that, while being myself on Windows, I don't know how to make CM interface dark (i.e. the reverse situation). Changing Windows itself to dark mode has no influence on CM colors.

A custom per-program theme (as in CM) can override the GTK colors for that particular program ?
