Yes, some of us know that ;-)

Preserving the From: breaks SPF alignment of DMARC. The message
must be DKIM signed (and not modified body nor signed headers to
don't break DKIM signature) to pass DMARC. I do not know what CM
does with body & headers in this case, but these modifications can be
done already by your MTA/MDA... And some sites does very strange
headers selection for DKIM, etc, etc. One must know when it can use it
nowadays.

In other words, it is mostly dead nowadays and it is good mostly for
internal flow only. because it is hard to preserve original From:
header and pass checks, if domain defines DMARC policy other than
none, especially for end user

That CM doesn't supports HTML messages is IMO feature, and this
feature is one of reasons why i like it. Yes, HTML messages are
so cool, they are formated, has images, and that is important for
today people, often more important than content itself. But, HTML
messages often contain hidden spying parts too, to see if and when
message was open/read. No, thanks.

Only one reliable option is to send original messages as attachment.
Its caveat is, that receiver's MUA must support message/rfc822 MIME
type attachments (many doesn't), or at least importing that format
and receiver must save it and then import as "new" message, to see
content -- not task for many users.

CM supports that MIME type, and thus i can see them directly in it
without extra effort -- that is another reason, why i like it.

regards
