[Users] Crash recovery - rebuilding folders

Hello,

some weeks ago the PC crashed; I had some backups but no backup
covering all data.

So, I checked the data structure to find out how and where to add the
old messages.

The tagsdb seems to describe the system structure (account, required
data fields, folders and sub folders)

Then we have the ~/mdir/ structure
 e.g. ~/mdir/user at pc:~/mdir/ml/iac$ ls
3910 3926 3937 3954 3965 3976 3987 3999 4011 4022 4033 4044
4055 4066 3916 3927 3938 3955 3966 3977 3988 4000 4012 4023
4034 4045 4056 4067

where each number stands for an email.

I tried to add (old) number to some mailing list/mailbox; sometimes the
added mails would show in Claws - sometimes not.

I don't really have a clear understanding about how this works.
As the system has to give each incoming mail a number (and stores it
using this number) duplicate numbers are not acceptable ...
Maybe the system starts with one number and allocates then allocates
numbers one after the other....

Is there some information available about how I have to prepare the
older mails so that I can import them?
Or, does anybody have a suitable script?

That would help a lot!

Best regards,
Bernd

Thanks to Keith; I found the link to call the browser.
