[Users] new email account creation problem with gmail

went into the edit account section and checked each mailboxes.

I have 8 accounts.  this one I'm adding is #9.  all of the 8 are in
their proper directory.  not account #9. 

I did see that the #9 account was pointing to the scanb31 at gmail.com
mailbox.  i tried changing the directory to the correct email address.
it still reverted to scanb31 at gmail.com when I hit the apply button.

I deleted it and made another new #9 account. same result.

where is the claws mail directory located? I can't find it.
