[Users] How to import a save mail tree

Some weeks ago my harddisk crashed.
I did have backups and managed to rebuild the machine.

But I didn't succeed in importing the mail folder tree.
i.e. folder 
       subfolder
           msg1   10
           msg2   15
           msg3   25

where 10, 15, 25 are files containing the mail text.

I can attach the folder but the mail text is not imported ie. In Claws
I don't see any messages.

How can I import a folder tree correctly.
