Used to...  See attached CM1.png vs CM2.png which show black on
{light,dark} blue backgrounds.

Likely in calls...  see file selector attachments CM1fs.png vs CM2fs.png
which show white on {light,dark} blue backgrounds in both startup cases.

The difference? Only the following... nothing else.

CM1*:  CM started with:  env GTK_THEME=Breeze claws-mail

CM2*:  CM started with:  claws-mail

No messing with themes...

Finally got the above solution thanks to this post:
