DM: I've noticed something similar in regards to position of mouse
cursor (point of arrow) in relation to viewing tooltips in the message
view list. It has to be in the upper part of the relevant area for the
right tooltip to show; if it's too far down, it shows the tooltip for
the message below it. I don't remember trying to do a confirmation test
in the GTK2 versions of Claws, but I didn't ever notice the issue in my
regular usage of those; I first noticed it in the GTK3 versions.
Depending what theme you use, you may have to be in the upper 1/3
(frustrating) of the area or the upper 2/3 (tolerable, but not perfect).
I'm assuming it's something related to GTK3 and/or one or more of:
desktop environment, window manager, theme-related things, other
