The name is not was decide whether as user is the same but the user
number (uid). Run the command id in a terminal to get the uid of your
user. If the uid does not match the uid of the file it will be treated
as a different user. A symptom of this is if the username is not
displayed for the user but you see a number instead. If this is the
case you need to run the following command: sudo chown -R
[username]:[username] .claws-mail ([username] should be replaced with
the username you use).
