By the way, Chris, i asked myself how could you drop into a different folder than looking at later. And i think it could happen when you used the context menu 'move' feature, with no clear oversight over your mailboxes. It seems to show folder tree expanded, which can result in quite a long tree.

Usually, i just drag and drop mails (even multi-selections) in the main view (message list + folder tree). I believe it's harder then to mistake target folders.

But you should still consider renaiming similar names of folders/mailboxes to something more clarifying. Like prepend a I_ for imap, M_ for local MH, or such.

And i believe Chris explanation, that he would not want to offend the devel team. The idea itself would be ridiculous because their effort and the quality of claws-mail are out of question.  And thus i've always read Chris' subject as going haywired or going nuts, a funny way to put 'i have no idea whats going on' and it would not imply the app iteslf must be 'the culprit'.

But Chris needs to realize that uppercase is typically used for 'flaming' in the legacy internet practice (like Email) and that 'stupid' as a funny expression can easily be misunderstood.

At least when someone tells you it's not cool you should consider it and be ready to change. It's a not even a matter of who is right or wrong but really is just a matter of politeness.  And no, it's not a problem to change subject, as M. Schwendt pointed out. It happens more often.
