[Users] Changing colors in inbox display

It seems i cannot install gnome-controlcenter or gnome-tweaks because they want package colord and that wants policykit and that in the long dependency chain wants systemd. Which i still don't use on this machine. I have some laptops with various standard systems but like to have that kind of minimalistic machine on this PC.

I tried deconf-editor but it does not access my gtk settings.

Any more options  .... ?
