You need to edit the file ~/.claws-mail/print_page_setup while Claws Mail is
not running.

If you don't have that file, create it. Use the following format, changing
the values to suit:

[Page Setup]
PPDName=A4
DisplayName=A4
Width=210
Height=297
MarginTop=5
MarginBottom=5
MarginLeft=5
MarginRight=5
Orientation=portrait
