order for someone to attempt to answer your question, they will need to
know whether you are talking about a POP account or an IMAP account,
since my understanding is that the default locations for these are
different. It would also be helpful to know whether you are using the
default location for your messages or whether you have specified your
own desired location. Knowing these things will help confirm that
