those are the settings for the Yahoo account I'm using for this mailing list:




Configuration -> Edit accounts... -> Basic -> Server information

Protocol:              POP Auto-Configure
Server for receiving:  pop.mail.yahoo.com
SMPT server (send):    smtp.mail.yahoo.com
User ID           :    kde.lists at yahoo.com # use your email address ;)
Password          :    ................    # see [1]




Configuration -> Edit accounts... -> Send

Authentication

[x] SMPT authentication (SMTP AUTH)
Authentication method: Automatic           # LOGIN should work, too
User ID           :    kde.lists at yahoo.com # use your email address ;)
Password          :    ................    # see [1]
[ ] Authenticate with POP before sending




Configuration -> Edit accounts... -> Receive

[ ] Use secure authentication (APOP)




Configuration -> Edit accounts... -> SSL/TLS

POP         [x] Use SSL/TLS
Send (SMPT) [x] Use SSL/TLS
[x] Use non-blocking SSL/TLS




Configuration -> Edit accounts... -> Advanced

SMPT port   465
POP  port   995
