Hi, Success at last ... In the Microsoft account, at https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/inbox , the settings (cog icon) has the following: Settings | Mail | Sync email Let devices and apps use POP - after I set this to 'Yes", I was able to use POP3 to retrieve the emails. Cheers, Peter
