Well, I'm using Fedora for years, currently Fedora 31 x86_64, and I don't
have any crash with Claws.
My current session statistics are:
Session statistics

Incoming traffic
Received messages: 10014
Outgoing traffic
New/redirected messages: 27
Replied messages: 67
Forwarded messages: 8
Total outgoing messages: 102
(and the session starting 5 days ago is because I've myself stopped and
restarted Claws).
So, I don't think it's fair to say Fedora is at fault or not well
maintained.
Claws and Fedora is something that's working, and I think there are more
subtleties in the issue.
