I didn't investigate much time into this. For this particular reason
Claws crashes all the times on my machine. For example, when writing an
email, then most of the times I have to kill and restart Claws several
times. I'm waiting for the finished GTK3 port. FWIW there's another
issue unrelated to Claws. I stay with kernel 4+, since there are serious
issues with some Intel graphics and at least latest 5+ kernels. I don't
have got a link to the Arch bug tracker at hand. However, the only
research I did, was taking a look at this bug tracker. I anyway tend
to migrate for most usages to Apple, unfortunately I wish to stay with
Linux for Emails and other Internet related tasks. Maybe I'll migrate
soon or later to FreeBSD, so I could continue to use Claws and other
Internet related apps, without suffering from the every now and then
happening Linux inconsistencies.
