This is simply not true. When you activate that option, the header pane is
added to the top of the message view. The grab bar /still/ stays between
message list and message view. (The panel that holds the QuickSearch box and
the folder summaries belongs to the message list. I think that is clear to
everyone now.)

Funny thread. With regard to Brian's message, I didn't see all that
negativity in it that others saw. And that's quite instructive, I think.
