Yesno, you could use an "Action".

With

$ grep pluma .claws-mail/actionsrc
Editor Pluma: pluma %f

I changed the subject of your received message "[Users]..." to
"[Users-TEST]...". IOW I have done this to the original received email.

To add an "Action" go to "Configuration > Action..." or just edit the
~/.claws-mail/actionsrc file.

To use an "Action" select "Tools > Actions".
