That issue has been getting a lot of coverage in the last couple of days or
so. The issue was fixed in Claws Mail some 14 years ago.

The related crash you cited in your previous email starting occurring some
time sooner than that.

Both the crash and a related issue were fixed in git yesterday:

A new release is due in the not too distant future.
