[Users] Feature request: Make search "Clear" button reset search mode

Hi,

I'm not sure how typical my use-pattern is, but I find that I use the
search, almost always, in one of two modes: Either I use the
"From/To/Subject/CC/Tag" option, or I click the reply-finder and get an
"Extended" search with the conditions already filled in. However, every
time I want to go back to text search after having searched for replies,
I need to edit both search controls -- the mode and the text. The
search "Clear" button clears the search text, but leaves the mode as it
is (in this case "Extended", which I never use this way).

I would like to be able to set a "default search mode", and have the
"Clear" button restore the mode to this default when it is clicked;
this would make my work smoother.

Does this make sense to other people?
