[Users] Xubuntu : strange error

[Guido Milanese]

I reinstalled Xubuntu with all the programs I normally use, including claws
mail. I cannot launch the program; trying from the command line, I get this
message:

input in flex scanner failed

Never seen this before. I would be very grateful for any help. I like the
program and I would like to keep using it!
