[Users] Annoying scan of already read emails

Hi All

My INBOX (and other folders) has 6000+ emails and from time to time, out of the
blue, CM stats to scan it all.
Don't know if this helps, but I do not exit CM every day. It stays running for
weeks some times.

It takes several dozens of minutes and I just can do anything else but wait.
Killing CM alleviates the problem for a few minutes and since I reenter INBOX
it starts to scan it again.

Is there an option to tell it to scan only unread messages?
Does this make any sense to you guys?
