That's strange, since 16.04 is a LTS. On Ubuntu I build Claws myself
and on Arch Linux I'm using the same version of Claws from the official
repositories. Both are build with the same config.

On Ubuntu it's stable, while on Arch Linux it's one of a few broken
programs I've got installed, it's nearly unusable on Arch Linux.

Both installs are up to date. IIRC no dependency of Claws was updated
on Ubuntu. Claws itself from official repositories definitively wasn't
updated. It's still 3.13.2-1ubuntu1. A fishy dependency would have
broken my self build 3.17.0, too.
