I disagree;  If one has no desire to have dealings with a particular
person, deleting mails (ideally at the server so they never make it to
your own machine) is the best option.  One can then use ignore thread on
anything that is sent to (for example) this list in response without
having introduce sanctions against the good folk of the list.
