Hello,
PLEASE UNSUBSCRIBE ME,

I tried to unsubscribe but your system is too complicated, normally one click should be enough.
So please unsubscribe.
Reason : I don't get the support I expect, your Mailing list system is too complicated, outdated and unclear.
I gave the same question 3 times and still don't understand what to do , so I give up.

Hi,

Minor issue, just wondering---

When a folder has subfolders, and one of the subfolders has (new) messages, it looks like this:

   Folder 0 0
     SubFolder0 2 1 [in bold]
     SubFolder1 1 1 [in bold]

However, when collapsed, it looks like:

   Folder 0 0 [in bold]

So it is in bold, signalling there are new messages, but this is not reflected in the message count. I would have expected:

   Folder 3 2 [in bold]

OTOH, you can argue that 'Folder' itself does not have (new) messages.

It's a little bit confusing.

No, there's always more than one step; You need to respond to the confirmation email, otherwise you'll remain subscribed.

The CM list uses the same system for (un)subscribing that over 80% of mailing lists utilise. Many people cope without problem.

This list is manned by volunteers and users of CM as well as (some of) its dev team. All are unpaid. No guarantees that your messages are seen by all, never mind understood.

Not everybody has the time available to ask for a clarification of what you've asked, if they don't understand what you want. In any case, you got an answer from Paul on the 3rd of July and further response pointing you to that reply on the 5th.

Unsubscribe links are included in every mailing list message, and there's more than one way to unsubscribe.

For example, just send an empty email from the address you subscribed with to users-request at lists.claws-mail.org and make sure the Subject says 'unsubscribe'.

I think you probably made the whole thing more complicated for yourself by opting for message digests rather than single emails. It seems to have caused you to miss the responses that you received.

with regards

Paul

When using Claws:

1. Select an Email from this mailing list, e.g

"Re: [Users] Users Digest, Vol 83, Issue 11"

2. In the menu bar chose Message > Mailing-List > Unsubscribe >
   mailto...

3. Send the mail as is.

4. After a few seconds click "Get Mail". You most likely will receive a
mail with the subject "confirm [long hex number]", if not try again
   later.

5. This "Mailing list removal confirmation notice for mailing list
Users" is easy to understand and it takes just a few seconds to
unsubscribe, e.g. by simply following the link.

Hi,

CM allows to restrict a filter to a particular account. However I need the
opposite: to apply my filters to all accounts except one (or two). The clumsy approach would obviously be to duplicate each filter and dedicate the duplicate to each of the desired accounts. However this creates a monstrous list of filters and if some of the filters needs to be updated at certain time - it creates a lot of work + room for errors.

Is there a way to easily exclude account(s) from the effect of a filter(s)?
