[Users] Messages being expunged before retrieval

Regards this problem. I don't have any rules, filters,etc, setup at
all, so I can't see that there is anything within the Claws
configuration that can affect this.

After all, it is clearly the Dovecot mailserver, that has firstly
replied with 2 messages, then when Claws requested 1 msg, the
mailserver replied that the message had been expunged.

Will running Claws in debug help at all ? I have turned on
rules,filtering logs, even though I don't have any setup, and increased
the log file size and set to full.

However, it seems to me, that it is Dovecot that needs to supply more
detail. Can the Dovecot users on this list advise if there are any
additional logging functions for Dovecot please ?

The 'conversation' , in this scenario, between Dovecot and Claws, seems
to be one of conflict. That is, Dovecot advises of 2 messages, then
when Claws requests one, Dovecot states it is expunged. There is a file
called 'dovecot-uidlist' I can see under CPanel/File Manager, with
numbers then filenames.

Possibly this is a bug with Dovecot ? I notice that file I mentioned
still has quite a few entries in it. Shouldn't that file be empty if I
have retrieved all messages for that account ?

Clutching at straws I know.  :D
