Hi Ralph,
I don't know about reproducability or persistence across versions,
although I note that the first bug report linked above is stamped
"Colin Leroy 2012-11-15 10:54:48 CET " so I'm not sure of the value of
a newer version. Also I use what's in my distro's repo, which in the
case of a Ubuntu and Debian linux will always mean it's a bit out of
date. I don't in general mind that.
My concern arises from the fact that last night I turned off my
computer in good apparent working order after having used Claws for
months without a hiccup and this AM (Pacific) it doesn't send mail.
So that doesn't smell like a versioning issue to me.
And I don't want to have to track down the source code and build with an
uncertain outcome.
