OP has managed to subscribe and post to this mailing-list, which is
the right place where to discuss issues. Once it has been confirmed that
there is a bug, it may be anyone to enter a ticket in bugzilla, if there's
no existing ticket already. After a polite and insightful discussion of
a problem, it may even be the developers, who quickly open a ticket
themselves, assigning it to the right component.
The other questions you've asked are just ramblings. Please keep in mind
that it's possible for anyone to miscompiled Claws Mail from source code,
or that prebuilt packages offered by a distributor may be faulty. For
example, some distributions have dropped webkitgtk because of security
concerns due to unfixed bugs, so the fancy plugin cannot be built anymore.
