did you first create an account at
http://www.thewildbeast.co.uk/claws-mail/bugzilla/createaccount.cgi ?

You can't just use the email address and the password you are using for
your claws mailing list account. You could use the same email address
as you are using for your mailing list account, but it still requires
to create a bugzilla account for this email address.

The subscription to the mailing list isn't a subscription to bugzilla,
too. Both are independent from each other, so you need to create
independent accounts for the mailing list and bugzilla.
